The Republic of Uzbekistan is actively cooperating with the International Labour Organisation (ILO), including in providing favourable and decent working conditions. Uzbekistan had ratified 13 ILO Conventions. In order to develop social and labor spheres, to ensure growth in real incomes of the population, to improve the labor market situation, to expand productive employment and enhance employee safety and health, on 25 April 2014 a Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Uzbekistan and ILO was signed with annexed a Decent Work Country Programme in Uzbekistan for 2014-2016 (hereinafter - the Country program).
